RCM Blitz™ is a fully SAE JA1011 compliant RCM analysis methodology that is an integral part of designing and implementing a failure mode-driven maintenance strategy. This facilitated process includes Failures Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Process Verification Techniques, Consequence Reduction Tasks, Spare Parts Strategy and Implementation Strategy. A typical RCM Blitz™ facilitated project will cover the following:

Identification of induced failures modes of the PM/PdM activities

The fastest and most efficient way to facilitate the analysis using two fully certified co-facilitators to lead the analysis. At GPAllied we have worked to develop a co-facilitation model that combines the expertise of our most experienced RCM Blitz™ facilitators with the experience of our PM/PdM program managers delivering a output not only improves the overall analysis cycle time but delivers the proven real-world experience and results or our program managers.

While our typical RCM can deliver a RCM analysis that covers 85 to 100 components and 120 to 140 failure modes over five days the co-facilitation model improves this cycle by an additional 30% while also adding the multi-certification PdM experience of our program managers who know where to use each technology and what failure modes can be addressed by each.

Using a simple process as a class example, our instructor will lead the group through a series of class exercises to clearly show the benefits of RCM, how to select assets at your facility that will provide a return on investment, the steps necessary to starting and sustaining a RCM Blitz™ effort and how to manage your effort in a way that Reliability Centered Maintenance becomes part of your company business culture.
